Francesca’s was opened on October 5th, 1985 by three women who saw a need for high quality desserts consisting of homemade gelato, sorbetto, pastries and a wide variety of soft served with an enthusiastic smile to local families, students, friends and visitors in a cordial community environment.
In 2012 she was taken over by a local family who wanted to continue the legacy of Francesca’s and see her to the next level. As a small locally owned business, and because of its continued commitment to its mission, and principles, Francesca’s has been able to survive through economic tribulations and continued competition. She has been fortunate in having employees who genuinely care about her survival. They have made the extra efforts to aid in that survival.
As we enter our 27st year Francesca’s main goal has not changed and that is to relentlessly strive for the very best, so you can rest assured that your order whether it is a piece of pastry, a scoop of gelato or a drink, is of the highest quality. We, at Francesca’s, prepare and serve every menu item to the best of our ability. That’s our pledge to our patrons.
